Teaching Personnel is working closely with a well-regarded SEMH school in Carshalton, who are seeking a Primary Lead Teacher to join their team from January.
This is an incredible opportunity to make a real impact on young learners who require additional emotional, behavioural, and educational support.
About the Role

Full-time Primary Lead Teacher position

Leading and supporting a small team of primary-phase staff

Overseeing curriculum delivery, planning, and classroom practice

Working closely with SENCO, pastoral leads, and therapists

Long-term role with potential for permanent progression

Small class sizes with high levels of support
What We’re Looking For
✔️ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) — Primary trained
✔️ Experience working with SEMH, behavioural needs, or alternative provision
✔️ Strong leadership capability and confident classroom management
✔️ A nurturing, patient, and trauma-informed approach
✔️ Ability to implement tailored learning strategies and support plans
✔️ Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
