Teaching Personnel is working closely with a well-regarded SEMH school in Carshalton, who are seeking a Primary Lead Teacher to join their team from January.

About the Role

• Full-time Primary Lead Teacher position

• Leading and supporting a small team of primary-phase staff

• Overseeing curriculum delivery, planning, and classroom practice

• Working closely with SENCO, pastoral leads, and therapists

• Long-term role with potential for permanent progression

• Small class sizes with high levels of support

What We’re Looking For

✔️ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) — Primary trained
✔️ Experience working with SEMH, behavioural needs, or alternative provision
✔️ Strong leadership capability and confident classroom management
✔️ A nurturing, patient, and trauma-informed approach
✔️ Ability to implement tailored learning strategies and support plans
✔️ Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
