PPA Teacher – South Gloucestershire

Location: North Bristol / South Gloucestershire
Hours: Part‑Time
Salary: £130 - £160 per day


About the Role

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and adaptable PPA Cover Teacher to work part‑time across Early Years, KS1 and KS2 in primary schools located within North Bristol and South Gloucestershire.

This role is ideal for teachers who enjoy variety, flexibility and working across different year groups while delivering high‑quality teaching and maintaining continuity of learning during PPA time.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging pre‑planned lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
  • Maintain classroom routines and uphold effective behaviour management
  • Support pupils’ learning, progress and overall wellbeing
  • Adapt learning activities to meet a range of abilities and needs
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff and wider school teams
  • Adhere to safeguarding, health & safety, and school policies at all times

The Successful Candidate

  • Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Confident teaching across a variety of primary year groups
  • Strong understanding of the National Curriculum
  • Holds an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one)
  • Passionate, engaging and able to build strong relationships with pupils
  • Flexible and adaptable to different classroom settings and abilities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
