PPA Teacher

-          Have you acquired a Fully Qualified Teacher Status?

A two form entry primary School in Burnley are looking to appoint an experienced Fully Qualified Teacher to join their warm and welcoming team. The role is to start from September 2020 and  will be on a part time basis,  working 3 days per week, Monday-Wednesday. You are required to work across the whole of Key Stage 2. The role is to take over the Schools ‘PPA Teacher’ who is going on Maternity Leave. You will be required to deliver Topic Lessons e.g. P.E, R.E, Language Studies, Art etc. so an excellent knowledge of the national curriculum is vital.

The School is a ‘Good’ school as graded by Ofsted, and the Head Teacher has said the general behaviour of the School is ‘Very Good’. She is looking to employ a Teacher who can deliver engaging and interactive lessons to encourage the children to be enthusiastic about learning. The school is a two  form entry and the Head Teacher has commended her staff as ‘supportive and hard-working’. The school has a varied catchment with a mixture of ethnicity across school. 

The salary is based on a full class teaching day, Monday to Wednesday, and depending on experience, this could vary between GBP100-GBP150 per half day.
