PPA Teacher - Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

Teaching Personnel is seeking a confident, adaptable, and enthusiastic PPA Teacher to support Early Years Settings in Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity for a fully qualified teacher who enjoys teaching a variety of subjects, working across year groups, and delivering high‑quality lessons without the full responsibility of class ownership.

As a PPA Teacher, you will cover classes during teachers’ planning, preparation, and assessment time ensuring continuity of learning and positive classroom experiences for pupils across the school.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and well‑structured lessons across various subjects and year groups
  • Maintain strong classroom management and promote positive behaviour
  • Adapt to different teaching styles, routines, and school environments
  • Ensure smooth transitions and continuation of learning while class teachers are on PPA
  • Build positive relationships with staff, pupils, and school leadership teams
  • Follow planning provided or adapt/create lessons where needed

What We’re Looking For

  • Fully Qualified Teacher (FQT)
  • Confident teaching in EYFS
  • Strong behaviour management and adaptability
  • Ability to deliver high‑quality learning in multiple classroom settings
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A flexible, positive attitude and willingness to support across the school

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
