PMLD Support Assistant – Leeds 

Daily Rate: £90–£110/day | Full-Time | Long-Term

We are seeking a PMLD Support Assistant to join a specialist school in Leeds, supporting pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties.

The Role:

• Provide safe moving & handling (hoists, slings, wheelchair transfers).

• Support pupils with personal care, feeding, and daily routines.

• Engage pupils in sensory and semi-formal learning activities.

• Work closely with therapists, nurses, and teachers.

Ideal Candidate:

• Moving & Handling training (or willingness to complete).

• Experience in SEN or care roles.

• DBS on the Update Service.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
