Salary: M1 – UPS1 (in line with teacher pay scale)
Contract: Full-time, long-term
Age Range: 11–16 (Key Stage 3 & GCSE)
About the Role
We are partnering with a large, high-performing secondary school in Salford to recruit a passionate and dedicated PE Teacher for a September 2026 start.
This is an excellent opportunity for both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced educators to join a supportive and forward-thinking department committed to promoting physical activity, teamwork, and student wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
As a PE Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging and effective Physical Education lessons across Key Stage 3 and GCSE
- Plan, prepare, and assess student performance in line with curriculum expectations
- Encourage participation and promote healthy, active lifestyles
- Differentiate activities to support students of varying abilities
- Monitor and track pupil progress, providing constructive feedback
- Contribute to extracurricular sports and wider school activities
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning

Requirements
To be considered, you must have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching PE up to GCSE level
- A strong commitment to high-quality teaching and student engagement
