Job description

Are you an enthusiastic PE Teacher who can inspire young people to develop confidence, resilience and a positive attitude towards physical education?

Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a welcoming secondary school in Portsmouth to recruit a passionate PE Teacher. The position is due to begin as soon as possible and is available on a full-time basis, with the potential to continue long term for the right educator.

The successful teacher will deliver engaging PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, supporting pupils of different abilities to participate, progress and enjoy physical activity. You will be expected to plan and deliver high-quality lessons, manage behaviour positively and contribute to a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

The school is looking for a motivated and reliable teacher with strong subject knowledge and a genuine commitment to improving outcomes for young people. Applicants should hold Qualified Teacher Status or an appropriate teaching qualification and have experience teaching PE within a secondary school setting. Applications from Early Career Teachers are also welcomed, provided they demonstrate confidence, enthusiasm and effective classroom management.
