Phonics Intervention Teaching Assistant – Horwich

Part-Time Role | Starting September | £14.25 per hour

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with a passion for helping children develop their reading skills?

We're looking for a dedicated Phonics Intervention Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Horwich on a part-time basis.

The Role

  • Delivering Read Write Inc. phonics interventions and booster sessions.
  • Supporting pupils across EYFS to KS2 with targeted literacy interventions.
  • Working with individuals and small groups to help children make excellent progress.
  • Collaborating with class teachers to support pupils' learning and development.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working in primary schools is essential.
  • Experience delivering Read Write Inc. phonics sessions is essential.
  • Confident supporting children with phonics interventions and literacy boosters.
  • A positive, patient and enthusiastic approach to supporting children's learning.
