An Ofsted-rated GOOD primary school in Brighton is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Phase Leader and KS2 Coordinator to join their permanent staff team from January 2025. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate educator to take on a leadership role in shaping the success of the Key Stage 2 phase.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Key Stage 2 phase, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning.
- Support the development and implementation of the curriculum in KS2.
- Oversee pupil progress and attainment, identifying areas for improvement and working with staff to implement strategies for success.
- Mentor and support teaching staff within the phase, providing guidance on best practices and professional development.
- Work collaboratively with the Senior Leadership Team to drive whole-school improvement and meet strategic goals.
- Actively contribute to the school’s inclusive ethos and promote a positive, nurturing learning environment.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant teaching experience in Key Stage 2.
- A strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and a proven track record of raising standards in teaching and learning.
- Previous leadership experience (e.g., subject lead, year group lead) with a passion for supporting and developing staff.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyse data and use it to inform teaching strategies and improve pupil outcomes.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils.
- Enthusiasm, resilience, and a genuine passion for education.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
