Teaching Personnel is working with a unique provision which has reached out for help in finding an individual to support their students both physically and academically. This position would ideally be filled by someone with a background in personal care, either from care or another setting.

This position would be working 1:1 with a children with physical disabilities, supporting their academic and physical progress. The ideal candidate will have experience with personal care and have a real passion for seeing children develop and progress, as the successful individual will play a crucial role in a young person’s learning journey,

Main Duties:

-      Provide substantial physical support to students on a 1:1 basis,

-      Work as part of a team, working in unison with other staff members to ensure all students receive full support,

-      Have an understanding of differing levels of support all students have equal access to opportunities to learn and develop,

The ethos of the school surrounds creating an encouraging and inclusive environment, with a curriculum that aims to enable students with skills that will ensure they are able to reach their full potential.

This position would be within Exeter, with regular off-site activities and trips. The hours would be 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday – Friday.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
