PE Teacher – Secondary School – Stafford (ST16)
Salary – £140.00 - £220.00 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date - September 2026
Teaching Personnel are currently working with a welcoming secondary school in Stafford (ST16) who are seeking a passionate and dedicated PE Teacher to join their team. This is a full-time role, delivering engaging Physical Education lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons across a range of sports and activities.
- Inspire students to develop confidence, teamwork, and a lifelong enjoyment of physical activity.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support achievement.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
- Support extracurricular sports clubs, fixtures, and school events where appropriate.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the wider school community.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching PE within a secondary school setting is desirable.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- A genuine passion for physical education and student development.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one through Teaching Personnel.
This role would suit experienced PE Teachers, Early Career Teachers (ECTs), or qualified teachers looking for a new opportunity within a supportive secondary school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
