Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a welcoming and ambitious secondary school in South Shields to recruit a dedicated PE Teacher for September 2026. Your Role Will Include:
- Delivering engaging and high-quality PE lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Encouraging participation, confidence, and resilience through sport and physical activity
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students can succeed
- Monitoring and assessing student progress to help maximise achievement
- Building strong relationships with students, staff, and parents
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching PE within a secondary school setting
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- A positive, enthusiastic, and motivating approach to teaching
- A genuine passion for student wellbeing, fitness, and achievement

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
