Job description

Physical Education Teacher – Weymouth
Start Date: September 2026

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed PE Teacher to join our friendly and forward-thinking school community in Weymouth from September.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about sport and enjoys inspiring young people to develop their skills, confidence and love of physical activity. You will play an important role in delivering high-quality PE lessons and encouraging students to take part in a wide range of sporting opportunities.

The successful candidate will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons that support students of all abilities
  • Encourage participation, teamwork and a positive approach to sport
  • Help students build confidence and achieve their personal best
  • Support extra-curricular activities, clubs and school fixtures
  • Work positively as part of a dedicated and supportive team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
