Position: PE Teacher

Location: Ware, Hertfordshire

Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated PE Teacher looking for an exciting new role?

Teaching Personnel are currently working with an excellent school in Luton who are actively seeking a physical education teacher to join their faculty. The role would be excellent for an individual who has a passion for inspiring students to lead active and healthy lifestyles.

About the role

The successful candidate will be required to design and deliver engaging PE lessons to students across Key stage, 3, 4 and 5, whilst catering to all skill levels and experience. It’s also important to have the ability to provide the students with constructive feedback to help further their skills, and knowledge of the subject.

Requirements

  • A qualification in teaching (QTS or equivalent) or good experience in teaching Secondary Education
  • A strong passion for promoting physical health and active lifestyles
  • Knowledge of various sports and fitness activities
  • A child only enhanced DBS
  • Experience in lesson planning, and assessment
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to excel in the subject

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
