Job description
Teaching Personnel are looking for PE Teachers to work in secondary schools across Hastings and the surrounding areas.
We have opportunities available for day-to-day supply, long-term placements and permanent roles. Please note that rates of pay depend on the qualifications, experience and the responsiblities of the role.
You'll be teaching PE across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging lessons and helping students develop confidence, teamwork and a positive attitude towards sport and physical activity.
The role:
- Teach PE across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons
- Monitor and assess student progress
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and learning
- Support the wider life of the school where required
What we're looking for:
- QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching PE in a secondary school setting
- Strong classroom management skills
- A positive and reliable approach
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
