PE Teacher – Flexible Work Across Schools in Exeter

Are you an enthusiastic and energetic PE Teacher looking for flexible work in Exeter? Whether you're an experienced teacher or an ECT, Teaching Personnel is looking for confident and adaptable PE educators to work across a variety of secondary schools and academies in the Exeter area.

This is a great opportunity to gain experience in different school settings, build relationships with local schools, and teach a subject you're passionate about — all with the flexibility to suit your lifestyle.


The Role:

  • Deliver high-quality PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 opportunities may be available)

  • Teach a range of sports and physical activities, promoting health, fitness, and teamwork

  • Inspire and motivate students to engage in both practical and theoretical PE

  • Support schools on a short-term, long-term, or day-to-day basis

  • Contribute to extra-curricular activities, enrichment, and whole-school life (where applicable)


We’re Looking For:

  • A qualified PE Teacher (QTS/QTLS) or sports instructor with relevant school experience

  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to engage students of varying abilities

  • Confident managing behaviour in both indoor and outdoor settings

  • Passionate about physical activity, student well-being, and inclusive PE

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
