Job Title: PE Teacher
Location: Exeter, Devon
Start Date: September 2025 or ASAP
Contract Type: Full-time (Temp-to-Perm potential)

Teaching Personnel is working closely with a forward-thinking secondary school in Exeter that is seeking a dynamic and dedicated PE Teacher to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in a vibrant school environment that values teamwork, high standards, and student well-being.

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons across KS3 and KS4

  • Plan and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum

  • Promote a healthy lifestyle and encourage pupil participation in extracurricular sport

  • Support the wider school ethos through involvement in sports clubs and school events

  • Work collaboratively with the PE department and pastoral staff

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Experience teaching PE in a secondary school setting

  • A strong knowledge of the PE curriculum

  • Enthusiastic, motivational, and committed to student progress

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
