Are you an energetic and motivated PE Teacher looking for your next opportunity in Exeter? Teaching Personnel is working with secondary schools across the area to recruit enthusiastic PE Teachers who are passionate about promoting health, fitness, and teamwork.

About the Role

As a PE Teacher, you will deliver engaging and inclusive lessons that encourage students to develop their physical skills, confidence, and enjoyment of sport.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering high-quality PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 opportunities may be available)
  • Teaching a range of sports and physical activities
  • Promoting participation, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles
  • Assessing and monitoring student progress
  • Supporting extracurricular sports clubs and school teams
  • Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a teacher who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Has experience teaching PE in a secondary school setting
  • Has strong subject knowledge across a variety of sports
  • Can motivate and engage students of all abilities
  • Demonstrates excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Is enthusiastic, reliable, and a strong team player

This role is suitable for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
