PE TEACHER- COVENTRY- CV2 - FULL TIME

Look no further because at Teaching Personnel, we are working alongside a fantastic mainstream secondary school based in Coventry (CV2), to appoint a dedicated and truly passionate PE teacher to work on a full time basis. The school are supportive and welcome new starters with a great induction programme to support their transition into the school.
We will pay to scale for this role (MPS/UPS!)
What do you need?
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Recent, relevant experience teaching PE in a UK based secondary school
- Excellent school-based references
- Strong subject/curriculum knowledge
- Strong behaviour management techniques
What will you be responsible for?
- Full planning and delivery of a range of PE lessons, covering the curriculum
- Teaching a range of year groups from Years 7-11 and potentially 12/13 if you have A-Level experience
- Managing behaviour effectively and keeping pupils' health and safety at the centre of your practice
- Providing helpful and insightful feedback to pupils to help their progression
- Active participation in the running of extra curricular activities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
