The Role
As a PE Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging and high-quality PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to teach Key Stage 5.
- Inspire students to develop a lifelong passion for sport, fitness, and physical wellbeing.
- Plan and deliver a broad, balanced, and inclusive PE curriculum.
- Assess and monitor student progress to support achievement and development.
- Encourage participation in extracurricular sports clubs, fixtures, and enrichment activities.
- Foster a positive, safe, and supportive learning environment.
- Contribute to the continued success and growth of the PE department.
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related subject.
- Excellent subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for PE and school sport.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- The ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities.
- A commitment to improving outcomes and supporting student wellbeing.
- The willingness to contribute to extracurricular sporting activities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
