The Role

As a PE Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging and high-quality PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to teach Key Stage 5.

• Plan and deliver a broad, balanced, and inclusive PE curriculum.
• Assess and monitor student progress to support achievement and development.
• Encourage participation in extracurricular sports clubs, fixtures, and enrichment activities.
• Foster a positive, safe, and supportive learning environment.
• Contribute to the continued success and growth of the PE department.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related subject.
• Excellent subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for PE and school sport.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• The ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities.
• A commitment to improving outcomes and supporting student wellbeing.
• The willingness to contribute to extracurricular sporting activities.
