Teaching Personnel are seeking enthusiastic, energetic and sport-minded PE Cover Supervisors to work across secondary schools in the Pontypridd area. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, sports coaches, teaching assistants or anyone with strong behaviour-management skills looking to gain hands-on school experience. Teaching Personnel work with 3 secondary schools in the Pontypridd area including a number of Primary schools, both English and Welsh-medium.

About the Role

As a PE Cover Supervisor, you will:

• Supervise PE lessons and practical sessions in the absence of the class teacher
• Deliver pre-planned activities and ensure pupils remain engaged and on task
• Support behaviour management and promote a positive learning environment
• Work across KS3 and KS4, supporting whole-school cover when required
• Be a proactive, reliable member of the school team

We’re Looking For

• A background in sports, coaching, education, or working with young people
• Confident communication and strong behaviour-management skills
• A positive, resilient attitude and a passion for helping pupils succeed
• Availability during school hours (08:30–15:30)
• A Child Workforce Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
• The ability to speak the Welsh language is desirable but not essential
