Pastoral Support Worker – Full Time
Location: Bolton, Greater Manchester
Contract: Full time, long-term
We are recruiting for a full-time Pastoral Support Worker to join a specialist provision in Bolton, supporting pupils who face barriers to learning including attendance issues, behaviour and engagement.
This role will involve working closely with pupils, families and staff to improve attendance, engagement and overall outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitoring attendance and identifying patterns or concerns
- Supporting pupils with reintegration into school routines
- Liaising with parents, carers and external agencies
- Providing emotional and pastoral support
- Conducting home visits where required
- Supporting behaviour and engagement strategies
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Experience in a pastoral, attendance or behaviour-focused role
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Confidence working with families and external professionals
- A proactive and solution-focused approach
- Full-time availability

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
