Are you a passionate and motivated Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to gain valuable classroom experience while maintaining a healthy work-life balance? We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated ECTs to work on a part-time basis across a range of welcoming and supportive primary schools throughout Huddersfield.

This is an excellent opportunity to build your confidence, develop your teaching skills, and gain experience across a variety of school settings and year groups. Whether you're looking for 2, 3, or 4 days per week, we can help find opportunities that fit around your schedule while supporting your professional development.

What We Offer

• Competitive daily rates of £120 - £150

Your Responsibilities

As an Early Career Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging and creative lessons that inspire young learners
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
• Implement the National Curriculum effectively
• Adapt lessons to meet the needs of all pupils
• Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
• Establish positive behaviour expectations and classroom routines
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to promote pupil achievement

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must:

• Hold or be working towards Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Be an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or recently qualified teacher
• Have a good understanding of the Primary National Curriculum
• Be committed to helping pupils achieve their full potential
• Demonstrate strong communication and organisational skills
• Be adaptable, enthusiastic, and eager to learn
• Have a strong commitment to safeguarding and child welfare

A First Aid qualification would be advantageous but is not essential.
