Position: PE Teacher
Location: Salisbury
Start Date: September 2024

A mainstream secondary school in Salisbury is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic PE Teacher to join their team for a September start. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced educator or a newly qualified teacher to make a positive impact on students' physical education and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages all students to participate and excel.
  • Promote the importance of physical fitness and healthy lifestyles.
  • Organise and lead extracurricular sports activities and events.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the PE curriculum.
  • Monitor and support students' progress, providing constructive feedback and setting achievable goals.
  • Maintain a safe and orderly learning environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A relevant degree in Physical Education or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching PE.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to contribute to the wider school community.
