Nurseries and early years settings across Southampton are looking for enthusiastic, caring, and dedicated Level 3 EYFS Practitioners to join their teams from October 2026.

The Role
As a Level 3 EYFS Practitioner, you will:
- Support children’s learning and development in line with the EYFS framework.
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities.
- Build strong, positive relationships with children and families.
- Support children’s communication, language, physical, social, and emotional development.
- Observe, assess, and record children’s progress.
- Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
- Work closely with colleagues to provide high-quality early years care and education.
- Encourage children’s independence, confidence, and curiosity through play-based learning.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is:
- Level 3 qualified in Early Years / Childcare
- Passionate about working with young children.
- Caring, patient, and enthusiastic.
- Confident supporting children’s learning and development.
- A strong communicator and team player.
- Reliable, adaptable, and proactive.
- Knowledgeable about the EYFS framework and safeguarding.
- Available to work part-time during nursery/school hours.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
