Nursery Assistant
We have an exciting opportunity for talented and inspiring practitioners to join our Nurseries in Burnley and the surrounding areas!
- Hours: Full-time and Part-time: Monday - Friday (hours may vary)
- Pay: £12.90 - £15
- Location: Burnley and surrounding areas.
Job Duties:
- Have a nurturing approach when supporting children, prioritising their wellbeing and happiness.
- Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
- Assist in planning and implementing engaging activities for children.
- Ensure you promote a safe, fun and stimulating environment.
- Share ideas for inspiring continuous provision, so children can have high quality experiences.
- Provide daily and personal care to your key children, encouraging them to become independent.
Knowledge and Skills:
- A good understanding of the EYFS curriculum and framework in order to monitor and record children’s progress and development.
- Ability to work collaboratively with the Nursery Teacher, other professionals and parents.
- Ensure all health and safety and safeguarding procedures are being followed.
- Effective communication
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Level 3 EYFS Qualification or equivalent
- Experience working in a childcare setting
- Enhanced DBS check – on the update service
- Have a good understanding of Safeguarding practices.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
