Job description

Nursery Practitioner Required – Immediate Start Available

Teaching Personnel is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to work within one of our partner Early Years settings for the remainder of the academic year, with opportunities to continue throughout the summer period.

We are particularly interested in hearing from candidates who hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education and Childcare and are passionate about supporting children's learning and development during these crucial early stages.

The successful candidate will:
• Support the delivery of high-quality early years education in line with the EYFS framework
• Create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing learning environment
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
• Assist with planning and delivering engaging activities that promote children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
• Observe, monitor, and contribute to children's learning records and assessments
• Ensure safeguarding and welfare requirements are consistently met

Requirements:
✔ Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent)
✔ Previous experience working within a nursery, preschool, or early years setting
✔ Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum
✔ Excellent communication and teamwork skills
✔ Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
✔ Relevant safeguarding training (desirable)
