Job description

Are you passionate about inspiring the next generation of musicians? A well-established secondary school in Oldham is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Music Teacher to join their team. The role is full-time and begins after the February half term. The school prides itself on its supportive and inclusive ethos and boasts fantastic facilities, providing the perfect environment for both staff and students to thrive.

The school is looking for someone who:

  • Has strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for music education
  • Can deliver engaging and innovative lessons that spark creativity
  • Encourages students of all abilities to develop confidence and musical skills
  • Is committed to fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Demonstrates excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • Is adaptable and eager to contribute to the wider school community
  • Brings energy, enthusiasm, and a willingness to inspire through extracurricular activities

Experience is preferred but not essential so whether you are an experienced Music Teacher looking for a new challenge or an ECT wanting to kickstart their career in Education, please do not hesitate to get in touch!

You would be paid in line with your teaching scale point (M1 – UPS3) £168.80 – £261.78 per day.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
