Teacher of Music – Maternity Cover

Large Mainstream Secondary School – Clitheroe, Lancashire
Start Date: Monday 13th April 2026
Full-Time | KS3–KS4

Are you a creative and inspiring Music Teacher looking for your next opportunity?
A large, well‑established secondary school in Clitheroe is seeking a committed Teacher of Music to join their highly regarded Performing Arts department on a full-time maternity cover from Monday 13th April 2026.

This is an exciting chance to bring your passion for music to a school that values creativity, high-quality teaching, and student engagement.

The Role:

  • Delivering engaging Music lessons across Key Stages 3 & 4
  • Planning and delivering both practical and theory-based lessons
  • Supporting students of all abilities to progress and achieve
  • Contributing to school concerts, performances, and extracurricular music activities
  • Working collaboratively with a dynamic Performing Arts team

The School is Looking For:

  • A qualified Teacher of Music (ECTs and experienced teachers welcome)
  • Someone with strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for music education
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • A teacher who can inspire confidence, creativity, and progress in their students
