Large Mainstream Secondary School – Clitheroe, Lancashire
Start Date: Monday 13th April 2026
Full-Time | KS3–KS4

A large, well‑established secondary school in Clitheroe is seeking a committed Teacher of Music to join their highly regarded Performing Arts department on a full-time maternity cover from Monday 13th April 2026.
This is an exciting chance to bring your passion for music to a school that values creativity, high-quality teaching, and student engagement.
The Role:
- Delivering engaging Music lessons across Key Stages 3 & 4
- Planning and delivering both practical and theory-based lessons
- Supporting students of all abilities to progress and achieve
- Contributing to school concerts, performances, and extracurricular music activities
- Working collaboratively with a dynamic Performing Arts team
The School is Looking For:
- A qualified Teacher of Music (ECTs and experienced teachers welcome)
- Someone with strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for music education
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- A teacher who can inspire confidence, creativity, and progress in their students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
