About the Role

We are recruiting on behalf of an ambitious and inclusive secondary school seeking an enthusiastic Modern Foreign Languages Teacher to join their team from September 2026.

The Role: MFL Teacher

As an MFL Teacher, you will deliver engaging and effective language lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, supporting pupils to achieve strong outcomes while fostering cultural awareness and curiosity.

You will work collaboratively with colleagues to plan a knowledge‑rich and inclusive curriculum, contribute to enrichment opportunities, and support a positive learning environment where all students can thrive.


What You Will Do

  • Deliver high‑quality MFL teaching across KS3 and KS4
  • Plan lessons that are engaging, accessible, and appropriately challenging
  • Differentiate effectively to meet the needs of all learners
  • Assess student progress and use feedback and data to inform teaching
  • Create a supportive, inclusive, and well‑managed classroom environment
  • Contribute to curriculum development and collaborative planning
  • Support enrichment activities, trips, and extracurricular opportunities
  • Promote high standards of behaviour, effort, and achievement

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Strong subject knowledge of MFL at KS3 and KS4
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to design engaging lessons for a range of learning styles
  • Commitment to professional development and reflective practice
  • Enthusiasm for inspiring students and promoting language learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
