Job Title: Year 3/4 Class Teacher
Location: Yeovil
Salary: M1–M6 (Paid to Scale)
Contract Type: Long-Term (full academic year)

About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 3/4 Class Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school located in Yeovil. This is a long-term opportunity, ideal for a teacher who is committed to making a meaningful impact on pupils’ academic and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons to a mixed Year 3/4 class
  • Support pupils across all areas of learning, ensuring progress for every child
  • Work collaboratively with classroom assistants to provide targeted support, particularly for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Liaise effectively with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and wider staff to ensure a cohesive approach to teaching and learning
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment where all pupils feel supported and valued

About You:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally within a mixed-age class setting
  • Strong understanding of supporting pupils with SEN
  • A collaborative approach and ability to work effectively with support staff
  • A genuine passion for teaching and a commitment to raising standards

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
