Job description

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic MFL Teacher specialising in Spanish to join a successful secondary school this Autumn. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about languages and wants to inspire students across KS3 and KS4.

As a Spanish Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and well-planned Spanish lessons, helping students develop their confidence and enthusiasm for languages.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Teaching Spanish across KS3 and KS4.
  • Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons.
  • Supporting students to make strong progress in their language learning.
  • Preparing students for GCSE Spanish where required.
  • Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Monitoring student progress and providing effective feedback.
  • Working collaboratively with the MFL department.

We are looking for someone who will be confident in the classroom, able to build positive relationships with students and have high expectations of behaviour and achievement.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
