Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher – Poole

Are you an inspiring Modern Foreign Languages Teacher looking to make a lasting impact in a thriving secondary school?

Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Poole that is seeking a dedicated MFL Teacher to join its successful Languages department from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to teach motivated students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of Key Stage 5 teaching depending on your experience.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging and interactive language lessons that build students' confidence in speaking, listening, reading and writing. You will encourage curiosity about different cultures while creating an inclusive classroom where students feel supported and challenged to achieve their best.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Have experience teaching one or more modern foreign languages, such as French, Spanish or German, within a secondary school.
  • Be confident delivering engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4.
  • Demonstrate excellent classroom management and effective behaviour strategies.
  • Be committed to raising achievement and inspiring a passion for language learning.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a supportive and forward-thinking department.
