Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher – Secondary School

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and fully qualified Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher to work in a secondary school setting. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher to join a supportive and forward-thinking school environment.
About the Role
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons in Modern Foreign Languages (e.g., French, Spanish, or German) to students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and potentially Key Stage 5). You will play a key role in fostering a positive learning environment and encouraging students to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective MFL lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Contribute to departmental planning and wider school activities
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour and attainment
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK is essential
- Proven experience teaching MFL within a secondary school setting
- Strong subject knowledge and passion for languages
- Excellent classroom management skills
- A valid enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Committed, reliable, and adaptable professional attitude
