Modern Foreign Languages Teacher
Location: Dorchester, Dorset
Contract: Full-time (part-time opportunities may be considered)
Start Date: September 2026 (or sooner if available)
We are delighted to be recruiting a committed and inspiring Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages to join our thriving secondary school in Dorchester, Dorset. About the Role
As a Teacher of MFL, you will:
- Teach French and/or Spanish across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons that motivate students to succeed
- Support the ongoing development of an ambitious and well‑structured MFL curriculum
- Use effective assessment to promote progress and achievement
- Actively contribute to the wider school community and enrichment opportunities
About You
The successful candidate will:
- Hold QTS (or be on track to achieve it)
- Be passionate about language learning and cultural awareness
- Have strong classroom management and a positive, inclusive approach to teaching
- Set high expectations and support learners of all abilities
- Enjoy working collaboratively within a supportive team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
