Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher – Bournemouth

Are you a passionate Modern Foreign Languages Teacher looking for your next opportunity in a supportive and ambitious secondary school?

A welcoming secondary school in Bournemouth is seeking an enthusiastic MFL Teacher to join its dedicated Languages department from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach Key Stage 5 for the right candidate.

You will deliver engaging and challenging lessons that develop students' confidence in languages, communication skills, and understanding of different cultures. Whether your specialism is French, Spanish, German, or a combination of languages, you will be committed to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive.

The successful candidate will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Have experience teaching Modern Foreign Languages at secondary level.
  • Be confident teaching French, Spanish, German, or a combination of languages across KS3 and KS4.
  • Have excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Be passionate about delivering engaging, high-quality lessons that inspire a love of languages.
  • Be committed to supporting students of all abilities to achieve their full potential.
