Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher – Gateshead
Start Date: May 2026
Contract Type: Flexible (Full-time & Part-time opportunities available)
Pay: £130–£251 per day (depending on experience)

Teaching Personnel is working with secondary schools across Gateshead to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic MFL Teacher specialising in French and Spanish. This is a fantastic opportunity to join supportive schools where your skills and creativity will truly make an impact.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Teach French and Spanish, inspiring a love for languages
- Adapt teaching to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Build positive relationships with students and staff
- Contribute to a vibrant and inclusive school environment
What We’re Looking For:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent
- Experience teaching MFL at secondary level
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- A genuine passion for languages and cultural education
- Flexibility, reliability, and a proactive attitude

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
