We are looking for an excellent Teacher of Media to join a great team in Northampton. As a school, they are driven to provide an education that is ambitious, broad and knowledge-rich; one that equips our pupils to live full, rich and successful lives. The role involves working with Key stages 3 and 4 and possibly up to year 12 and 13. 

This is a full time position.

 

About the role

As the school's teacher of Media you will join our Media department. You will be responsible for:

  • Setting high expectations for all learners.
  • Teaching our ambitious curriculum to our students in Years 7 to 13.
  •  Teaching excellent lessons for our students which are well prepared and planned.
  •  Assessing students' progress and adapting teaching to ensure that you are meeting the needs of all learners.
  •  Contributing to our curriculum planning with our Media team.

About You:

  • Well-qualified graduate with appropriate degree
  • PGCE/Qualified Teacher Status
  • Experience with curriculum development work
  • Experience across the age and ability range
  • Ability to work in a team Excellent classroom skills
  • Creativity and flexibility
  • Commitment to developing teaching and learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
