The role and what we are looking for

The Mathematics team within this academy have developed a curriculum that encourages resilience and independence, builds a pupils confidence, teaches consolidation and deepens knowledge. The department are looking for a Teacher of Maths to join them full time to add to the diversity of their teaching staff who will bring new and innovative ideas to the team to continue to inspire students in their subject. The school are looking for a teacher who is ready to take ownership of progress and establish and maintain excellent working relationships with staff and pupils.

The Academy

An over-subscribed academy with a large presence in the area dedicated to celebrating success through a love of learning. He academies main focus is to provide education accessible to all, working closely with the local community and students families to ensure support and guidance is in place for all pupils. The Academy attracts students from a variety of background of which the Academy recognises and celebrates throughout the year to promote an inclusive and welcoming feel for all.

The academy are able to accommodate a member of staff at any point in their teaching career. One of the great benefits of joining this school is its established Maths department. The have the capacity and mentors in place for an NQT, but equally are able to offer the salary expectations of an experienced teacher in this subject. You’ll need to have QTS and a reference to recommend you into teaching from your latest workplace or teaching placement.
