Salary: £90–£110 per day

Teaching Personnel is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Maths Graduate to work across schools in Gateshead. This role is ideal for graduates considering careers in Teaching, Educational Psychology, or further study in Education.

About the Role

As A Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Deliver targeted 1:1 and small-group interventions in Maths
• Build positive, trusting relationships to promote engagement, confidence and wellbeing
• Support students with additional needs, including SEN and SEMH
• Assist teachers in delivering tailored support and interventions
• Monitor student progress and communicate any concerns effectively with teaching staff
• Contribute to creating a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment

What We’re Looking For

• A degree in Maths (or a closely related subject)
• A compassionate, patient and proactive approach
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A genuine interest in supporting children and young people
• Previous experience working with young people (desirable but not essential)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
