Teaching Personnel are working alongside the Derby City SEND team to support students currently out of school.

We are looking for a tutor to work 1:1 with this student within their home for 12-15 hours per week, supporting in the core subjects of Maths and English to bridge any gaps in their learning. We are looking for a nurturing and experienced tutor to support this student who has lost confidence and enjoyment with their learning. 

Who are we looking for?

  • Compassionate individuals committed to making a difference to vulnerable young students
  • Nurturing, kind, and patient teachers who are committed to their pupils
  • Confident teachers who can deal with challenging behaviour
  • Teachers with an interest or experience in Counselling, Mental Health and Wellbeing
  • Fully Qualified Teachers or unqualified teachers with a minimum of 3 years’ experience of planning and delivering academic work
  • Enhanced DBS Child Only

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
