Level 3 Teaching Assistant (EYFS/Nursery) – Liskeard & Surrounding Areas

Teaching Personnel | Flexible Supply Work

Are you a passionate and nurturing Level 3 Teaching Assistant with experience supporting children within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)? Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting dedicated EYFS professionals to work across nurseries and primary schools in Liskeard and the surrounding areas on a flexible supply basis.

About the Role

We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistants who can support young learners in nursery and reception settings, helping to create engaging, safe, and stimulating learning environments. This role offers flexibility, making it ideal for individuals seeking a better work-life balance while continuing to make a positive impact on children's development.

Requirements

  • Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years Education, Supporting Teaching & Learning, or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working within an EYFS or nursery setting.
  • A sound understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents.
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to working in different educational settings.
  • Availability to work between 8:30am and 3:30pm, with a minimum commitment of 2 days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the learning and development of children aged 0–5 years.
  • Assisting with planned educational activities and play-based learning.
  • Promoting children's social, emotional, and physical development.
  • Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all children in your care.
  • Working collaboratively with teachers and nursery practitioners to deliver high-quality early years provision.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
