Level 3 Teaching Assistant (EYFS – KS1)

Location: BL0
Contract: September 2026 – July 2027
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
Pay: £15.00 – £16.50 per hour (depending on experience)

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the BL0 area from September 2026 until July 2027.

This is an exciting opportunity to support children across EYFS and Key Stage 1, helping pupils to achieve their full potential both academically and personally.

The Role

  • Supporting teaching and learning across EYFS and KS1 classrooms.
  • Delivering targeted interventions to individuals and small groups.
  • Supporting and challenging higher-attaining pupils to extend their learning.
  • Working closely with class teachers to promote pupil progress and engagement.
  • Contributing to a positive, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements

  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (essential).
  • Experience teaching and delivering phonics interventions (essential).
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS and KS1 curriculum.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
  • A proactive, flexible, and enthusiastic approach to supporting learning.
