Job Title: Level 3 Qualified Nursery Teaching Assistant
Location: S10 and surrounding areas
Working Hours: Between 08:00 and 18:00, depending on the needs of the setting
Start Date: Immediate and ongoing opportunities available
Contract Type: Flexible Supply / Temporary Opportunities (with potential for longer-term placements)

Are you a passionate and qualified Nursery Teaching Assistant looking for flexible work in the S10 area?

We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Level 3 Qualified Nursery Teaching Assistants to support nurseries and early years settings within primary schools across the S10 area and surrounding locations.

This is an excellent opportunity for childcare professionals who are committed to providing high-quality early years education and creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children to learn and develop.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of engaging and age-appropriate learning activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Promote children's learning, development, and well-being through play-based activities.
  • Assist with the planning and preparation of learning resources and classroom activities.
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff members.
  • Support children's personal, social, and emotional development.
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
  • Observe and record children's progress where required.
  • Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and school policies at all times.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years Education, or equivalent (essential).
  • Previous experience working within a nursery, preschool, or school-based early years setting.
  • Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework.
  • A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to supporting young children.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to adapt to different school environments.
  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
  • Two satisfactory professional references.
