Job Title: Lecturer of Business & Law

Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours
Salary:
£28,385 - £44,409 Per annum
What We're Looking For:
Individuals with diverse backgrounds and professional experience, including those looking to transition into teaching.
Job Duties:
- Deliver high-quality lectures and seminars in Business & Law subjects (Levels 2 and Level 3)
- Develop course materials and assessments
- Provide academic support and guidance to students
- Conduct research in relevant areas
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development
Required Qualifications:

A teaching qualification at Level 5 or a willingness to work towards one

A relevant qualification in Business or substantial industry experience
Experience:
-
Proven experience delivering high-quality teaching and learning in a post-16 environment

A track record of supporting students to achieve excellent academic outcomes

Experience as a personal tutor or in providing tutorial support (desirable)

Familiarity with a range of assessment methods tailored to varied learning needs
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Business & Law principles and practises
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to engage students in the learning process
- Research skills in relevant areas
Working Conditions:
This role involves working on a contract basis in an academic environment, delivering lectures and seminars, conducting research, and participating in departmental activities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
