Job Title: Lecturer - Bricklaying
Location: Cambridgeshire, Cambridge
Job Type: Contract, Full-Time
Salary: £28,385 - £41,782 Per annum
Job Description:
As a Lecturer in Bricklaying, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to students within the construction sector. Your primary focus will be on imparting knowledge and practical skills related to bricklaying techniques, tools, materials, and health and safety practises.
Job Duties:
- Deliver high-quality teaching across practical and theoretical sessions.
- Support and mentor students, helping them to achieve their career goals.
- Contribute to curriculum development, ensuring courses remain engaging and industry-relevant.
- Work closely with industry professionals to maintain high standards and up-to-date teaching methods.
Experience:
- Industry experience in Bricklaying/Construction.
- A Level 3 vocational qualification in Bricklaying.
- A passion for teaching and inspiring the next generation of tradespeople.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong knowledge of bricklaying techniques, materials, and tools
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
- Good organisational and time management skills
Working Conditions:
You will be based at our campus in Cambridge, East of England. This role involves working during standard office hours, Monday to Friday. Some flexibility may be required to accommodate evening classes or industry events.
