Learning Support Assistant – Behaviour Specialist School (Basingstoke)
Are you confident, resilient, and ready to make a real difference in the lives of young people? A Behaviour Specialist School in Basingstoke is looking for a full-time Learning Support Assistant to join their dedicated team immediately.
This school provides a fresh start for pupils, helping them overcome barriers to education and reintegrate into their usual school setting. You’ll play a vital role in building relationships, supporting behaviour management, and encouraging positive engagement in learning.
What We’re Looking For:
✔️ A positive, outgoing personality with a ‘can-do’ attitude
✔️ Confidence in working with young people who struggle with engagement
✔️ Experience with challenging behaviour (children or adults) is desirable
✔️ Background in mental health, support work, or education is a bonus
The Offer:
£13.80 per hour
Basingstoke-based role
Full-time, immediate start
Initially through Teaching Personnel, leading to a permanent school contract

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
