This role is ideal for someone who is patient, observant, and committed to helping young people access learning at a pace and style suited to them.

  • Encouraging pupils to build independence, social skills, and self-confidence
  • Supporting sensory-based activities, structured lessons, and therapeutic input
  • Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and support staff to deliver consistent strategies
  • Creating a calm, predictable, and encouraging environment throughout the school day

  • A confident, caring individual who builds rapport easily
  • Someone who remains calm in challenging situations
  • A reflective practitioner willing to adapt and learn
  • A positive and reliable team player
  • Someone who values inclusion and wants to make a difference

Previous SEND experience is helpful but not essential. The school provides strong guidance and ongoing professional development.
