Title : SEN Learning Support Assistant
Location: Sutton Coldfield, UK
Provision: Specialist Provision
Hours: Full Time (8:30am- 3:30pm)
Teaching Personnel are working with a SEN Primary School in Sutton Coldfield which offer education to students aged 3-11. The school are searching for Learning Support Assistants to work with their pupils who have a range of special educational needs. All pupils in the school have an Education and Health Care Plan (EHCP).
As a Learning Support Assistant, you would be supporting in and around the classroom, working with other highly skilled and committed staff to educate whilst promoting communication, independence, and social skills.
to be successful for this role, you would be keen to working with students with special needs. Have a good knowledge of Special Educational Needs such as Autism and Social, Emotional and Mental Health. You would be willing to learn and be proactive in your approach whilst having great communication skills with both students and other colleagues.
- Learning Support Assistant
- Have or willing to apply for an Enhanced Child DBS
- Experience with working with vulnerable child/adults (Highly Desirable)
- Have a good knowledge of Special Educational Needs
- Must be Resilient, Flexible and dedicated

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
