Learning Support Assistant

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting Teaching Assistants/ Learning Support Assistants  to work in a range of welcoming primary schools across the Newbury area.

This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone passionate about supporting young people in education, whether you’re an experienced TA, a recent graduate, or someone looking to gain valuable classroom experience.

The role:

• Supporting pupils on a 1:1 or small group basis

• Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management

• Providing additional support to pupils with SEND or additional learning needs

• Creating a positive, inclusive learning environment

What we’re looking for:

• A genuine interest in working with children and young people

• Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills

• Previous school experience is desirable but not essential

• A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
