Learning Support Assistants – Leeds, Wakefield & Surrounding Areas
Teaching Personnel is looking to add passionate and reliable Learning Support Assistants to our pool of educators supporting SEN and SEMH schools across Leeds, Wakefield and nearby areas.
We work with a wide range of specialist and mainstream settings, supporting children and young people with additional needs. This is a great opportunity if you’re looking to gain experience in education or continue building on experience you already have.
About the role:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you may be supporting pupils with:

Behaviour and emotional regulation
-
Accessing learning in the classroom
-
One-to-one or small group support
-
Personal care (where required, with training and guidance)
-
Building positive relationships and routines
Placements can be day-to-day, short-term, or long-term, depending on your availability and preferences.
We’d love to hear from you if you have:

Experience working in UK schools, OR
-
Experience in support work, youth work, care work, or any role working with children or young people
-
A patient, calm, and proactive approach
-
A genuine interest in supporting children with additional needs
You do not need formal qualifications to apply, as long as you have relevant experience and the right attitude.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
