Job description

Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant Required

Location: Kingston Upon Thames

Start Date: October 2026

Interviews: Scheduled for the week commencing Monday 14th September

We are currently working with a welcoming and inclusive mainstream primary school in Kingston Upon Thames.
They are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team for the upcoming academic year.

This is a full-time position starting on Monday 5th October
They offer an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with additional needs.

Who we’re looking for:

We welcome applications from candidates with previous experience supporting children with special educational needs.
Graduates in Psychology or Criminology who are interested in pursuing a role within the education sector are also encouraged to apply.

  • A good understanding of SEN, including autism, ADHD and learning difficulties

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
